Welcome to New Hope Chapel
We are a Bible-based, Christ-exalting church where people who wish to experience growth in their spiritual journey, authentic relationship to God, and deep, meaningful friendships with one another can gather. We are a casual, non-denominational church that seeks to exalt the name of Jesus Christ and follow Him in all aspects of church life. Learn more about us...
Adult Sunday School
The Adult Sunday School class meets at 9:15. The topic is Ephesians, and Bob Luther is teaching. This is always a great discussion and learning time, please join us!
Worship with Us
Our Sunday worship service begins at 10:30. There is a fellowship time after the service with coffee and light snacks, which is a great opportunity to get to know one another better.
Breakout (Sunday School) for Children
After joining their families for Praise and Worship and a brief Children's Message, the kids move downstairs to Breakout. Child care for infants through age 3 is available in our nursery throughout the worship service.
Celebrate the Advent Season With Us!
Advent is celebrated on the four Sundays before Christmas, culminating in a Christmas Eve celebration.
A popular tradition is marking the progression of the season through an Advent wreath made up of five candles. This symbol is borrowed from the emphasis throughout Scripture of Jesus Christ being the Light of the World (Matt. 4:16; John 1:4-9, 8:12). Each week a new candle is lit in anticipation of Christmas Eve. The last candle, called the Christ Candle, is lit on Christmas Eve to represent Jesus’ first advent. Through this theme of ever-increasing light penetrating the darkness, we see a picture of the gospel.
You are welcome to join us each week as we light the Advent wreath and hear a message about the coming of the Messiah, who He is and why He came, and how we should respond.
Christmas Eve Lessons and Carols Family Candlelight Service - 6:00 PM
Bring the kids, moms, dads, and extended family for a traditional New England candlelight service to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
New Hope Chapel is committed to being a beacon of hope to our neighbors, by introducing them to Jesus Christ and guiding them to a deep personal relationship with Him. We entrust our lives to the obedience of Christ’s teachings and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, living out God’s grace as Jesus told us “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
Two of our members, Frank & Julie Joyner, recently went to Papua New Guinea to participate in the dedication of the New Testament into the Mesem language (it took 20 years to translate!) Read about it on the Our World page.
