Questions You Might Be Thinking About...

We know what its like to try anything for the first time - the anxiety, the questions, the curiosity.

So here are answers to some of the questions you might be thinking about when deciding to visit NHC.

  1. What kind of church is this?
  2. What should I wear?
  3. How long will the service last?
  4. What will the service be like?
  5. Will I have to say anything, sing anything, sign anything, give anything, or be singled out in any way?
  6. What about my kids - do they come in with me, or is there something going on for them?
  7. Is this a Christian church, or something else?
  8. Where and when are the church's worship services?

1. What kind of church is this?
NHC is a non-denominational church.  We exist to know Christ passionately, and to make Him known lovingly in our world.  Our greatest desire is to help others to come to know Jesus - and we have designed ourselves to not only be a place to serve Christians, but also a place where seekers can feel comforatable.

2. What should I wear?
Please come in whatever clothes you feel comfortable wearing!  You will see people at NHC in their "Sunday best", and you will also see people in jeans!

3.How long will the service last?
Our services usually run for about an hour and 15 minutes.

4. What will the service be like?
We sing (a blend of hymns and praise and worship music), we pray, we read scripture, and we hear a message from Pastor Steve.

5. Will I have to say anything, sign anything, give anything, or be singled out in any way?
You don't have to do anything you don't want to!  We invite you to fill out a visitor card if you choose to do so, and beyond that, you can expect to be warmly greeted by other people before, during and after the service!

6. What about my kids - do they come in with me, or is there something going on for them?
See our Weekly Schedule for information on child care during services, as well as programs for kids.

7.Is this a Christian church, or something else?
Though we are a "non-denominational" church, NHC is deeply committed to the eternal truths of the Bible. For more information, please read our Statement of Faith.

8.Where and when are the church's services?
See our Weekly Schedule for services and times, and our homepage for location and directions.
